Inspired by the amazing Tim Bergholz, I wanted to really get my workflow down as I'm learning 3ds Max. I had fun exploring ornamental sculpting in ZBrush and working with metal, gold, and wood textures in Substance. All the shots here are the low-poly model with textures. The poly count is just over 4k. I think this would be more of an ornamental weapon, something a king would have, rather than a functional mace. Ornamental or not, I still wouldn't want to be hit in the face with this!
